Installation considerations is a question many customers will ask. In order to make our customers more clear about our air knives’ installation, this article will introduce you the installation notes of air knvies.

The first one is our spider manifold air knife, which can be installed on the air distributor made by our company or your own company.It is mounted on the air distributor through these threaded ports. If there is extra air outlet, you can plug it with a choke plug and then screw it up. This is the installation of the spider manifold air knife. In addition, the installation of high-speed nozzle is the same.

Next, it is the installation of stainless steel air knife. It can be fixed by screw holes at both ends. Both ends of the air knife have a fixed screw at each end. Or you can remove the screws directly, use round steel or round rods, and solder them up for fixing. Different lengths, according to their own needs to transform.

So, how is our air knife installed? For example, here is the air inlet, and the other side is the screw. Then we can use this installation baffle matched with our Coanda air knife to fix it.Screws are used to hold it in place.

Then, the installation profile with a circle is installed at our air inlet to fix it. One is 76mm and the other is 63mm.It is installed at our air inlet, which can adjust the Angle of our air knife. Then, for this rectangular hole, we can adjust the height of the air knife by sliding screws, which is very convenient.

Next is super air knife. Each of our super air knives, the standard one, will have four M6 screw holes on its back. Then our customers can laser with stainless steel, make two L-shaped baffles for fixing or directly support them, and install them on it,it is ok. In addition, if the air inlet is at one end, it affects your installation, you can change the air inlet to the side or top. This can be changed according to the installation site.

Similarly, our air wipe also has 4 M6 fixed screw holes on its back.We use screws to firmly fix the air wipe for installation.These are some of the considerations for the air knife when installing.

In addition, when some of our customers installed the air knife on their equipment, we sometimes received some feedback from them, such as why the air knife is very noisy. Why is this? In general, this situation is caused by two factors. 


The first one is that when you blow dry the irregular product, when the high-speed airflow blows on the surface of the product, a lot of whistles will be generated. There is no way to avoid this sound, so we can only do a sound insulation treatment on the surface of our equipment.
