Aeration Form and Structure of Tube Diffuser
2019/8/2
Tube diffuser is made up of a pipe made of ABS or UPVC as the air distribution pipe, the pipe wall is provided with ventilation holes, the outer periphery of the air distribution pipe is covered with a diaphragm made of synthetic rubber, and the diaphragm is fixed on the pipe by metal clips. The synthetic rubber diaphragm is punched with evenly distributed holes by laser and other methods.
During aeration, air enters between the diaphragm and the tube wall through the vent holes on the tube wall of the tube aerator. Under the action of compressed air, the diaphragm bulges slightly and the holes are opened to achieve the purpose of air distribution and diffusion.
When the air supply is stopped and the air pressure disappears, the diaphragm itself automatically closes the eyelet under the action of elasticity. Due to the action of water pressure, the diaphragm is pressed against the pipe wall. Therefore, the sewage will not flow back and block the holes. However, since the diameter of the opening of this diaphragm directly affects the utilization rate of oxygen, the diameter of the opening should be appropriate.
If the diameter of the opening is too large, the oxygen utilization rate is low, if the diameter of the opening is too small, the oxygen utilization rate is high, but the resistance increases. The rubber diaphragm shall be made of aging-resistant and high-strength colloid to prevent the diaphragm from tearing and damaging the aerator.
