The Technical Manual Of manvac blower

 

1Thanks for choosing manvac regenerative blower.

To ensure the normal working life of manvac regenerative blower as well as certify your machine work safety and make the production line run continuously , please provide this attention information to your Technology sector or the end user.

First , about the pressure and the max. pressure of manvac regenerative blower

Pressure is the basic blower parameter. Our blower is famous of its comparable high pressure. At present, the pressure of blower we can provide is from 7KPA to 100KPA.

When completely closed the inlet or outlet, you can get the max. vacuum or max. compressure. Usually, we don’t agree to use blower like this. If it is really necessary, please use pressure relief valve and install correctly. Using information of pressure relief valve please kindly refer to the correlative section.

Second , about the air flow and the max. air flow of manvac regenerative blower.

Air flow is also one of the basic parameter of blower. In this aspect, we have a variety of types. Under the same power, our blower can provide different air flow. Till now, the range of manvac blower air flower is from 47 to 2330m3/h.

When completely opened the inlet & outlet, you can get the max. air flow, one condition is the occasion should be aeration or you can not get this parameter.

Third, the relationship among pressure , air flow and using power of manvac regenerative blower

Pressure and air flow are complementary, they owes contradictory relations. Concretely speaking, the air flow will be fall as the arise of the pressure, but their using power will be bigger when the pressure ariseand vice versa.

During choosing the model, firstly choose the using pressure along the AIR FLOW-PRESSURE curves, secondly choose out the air flow on the other side, then you will get one intersection based on these two across, we take this point as the working point, and then choose the closest curve above. Under normal circumstances, the model you choose by this way can satisfy your spot working needs.

Usually, all the data marked in the other brand blower are the max. pressure and air flow that the blower can provide. However, we always choose blower model through its working pressure and air flow. So please pay attention to the difference. Meanwhile, as the difference of vacuum and compressure for the same model sometimes, you should pay more attention to the relative curves.

The performance curves of manvac blower is tested through below ways,

Under one atmospheric pressure, suck 15 air and then you can calculate the data, of course allow ±10% difference, and when the sucked air and surroundings temperature are not higher than 25℃, you still can get total pressure difference as the curves shows.

Please pay attention, the air flow and pressure marked in manvac ring air blower is the normal working pressure and the max. air flow.

Four, about the electrical source connection

When you received our blower, please do the connection as below. The operator should be professional electric technologist who owns related certificate.

If it is 380v blower-------when you open the junction box, the tolerant connection method is three phase 380v, you can connect the parallelism electrical source directly. If it is other voltages, please deal with it based on the mark.

If it is the starlike link way when leave factory: directly connect the 3phase 380v, at U1, V1, W1; this method usually used in the small power manvac regenerative blower.

 

If it is triangle link method when Leave factory: directly connect the 3phase 380v, at U1, V1, W1; which is often used in 3phase big power manvac regenerative blower.

If it is the 220v manvac regenerative blower------when you open the junction box, please confirm a reference direction firstly, turbine is on the left side, inlet is on the right side,   from right to left, the first and second point is the 220v electrical source points.

If it is triangle link method after leaving factorydirectly connect the single phase 220v at V1, W1; usually used in single phase small power manvac regenerative blower.

We strongly suggested that please don’t make our blower reversed, this may bring some unpredictable trouble.

If reverse is necessary, and the time will not too long, to the 3 phase blower, you can exchange any two electrical source lines’ sequence directly. To the single phase blower, we suggest you to alter its circumgyrate direction through changing the head and the cauda place of deputy winding loop. During reverse running, the efficiency will be down.

Sometimes when you received our high-power blowers, you will found it is the starlike link way(3phase 220v/330v double voltage) can’t take the star-triangle decompress to startup, this time we suggest to use soft starter or inverter to start up the blower, if you need to start directly, we recommend you to start no-load blower.

Before connecting the electrical source for manvac regenerative blower, firstly please confirm without fail whether the electrical voltage is as the same as the motor’s using voltage or not, whether the motor point install right or not (please see the bearing way of loop voltage in the mark), screw up every wire tightly without circuit short, set up an earth wire to prevent an electric leak. (6 screws on socket are isolated needed copper laminations to have a connection.)

Loading currency will cause difference combined with the flowing. Wire arrangement shall be accommodated enough for protection and operate under full loading currency (A) to avoid burning down.(Full loading ampere: refer to nameplate on the motor).

Five, about temperature

Usually, the allowed inlet air of our blower can be below 50, under the special situation, the max. inlet temperature it can bear is 70 air, but if you do in this situation, the blower should be tailor-made. 

If you use our blower under the following occasions, vacuum adsorption/ vacuum lifting/ vacuum conveying/ vacuum cleaner/ pneumatic transportation/ waste collect/ air knife/ waste water treatment/ electroplating mix/feeding etc. or some similar loading occasions, our blowers’ temperature will be higher, especially for wind barrel, it can reach 90-100℃,please don’t worry about it, it is the normal situation.

When worked in the above situations, the temperature will rise to 90-100 after running 15-40minutes, according to the different using pressure, the rising temperature time will be different as well. Running for 10minutes totally with the status of obturation, you can not touch the wind barrel exterior because the temperature is about 80℃ or more.

For the above occasions, you are required to check whether the motor exterior is below 70℃ or not, whether the current is in the mark extension or not when the blower worked in the above surroundings, only this two points are accord with the requirements, then you can use without any angst, and you can make it run constantly for 24hours.

As manvac regenerative blower running produces high temperature, do not touch its shell from being burnt.

If the working situation will probably make the manvac blower cause high temperature, then you should avoid to using the blower in a parochial, closeunventilated room. At the same time, please strengthen cooling measure.

Six, about the circumstance

manvac blower is adapted to the normal industrial surroundings within -10 to +50℃ extension, if you need to use in the other situation, please do some corresponding measures to protect the blower.

Seven, about air filter of manvac regenerative Blower

If only there is dust in the using surroundings, and the dust will be probably sucked in the blower, you should install an air filter. In principle, we suggest you use the air filter for every working occasion.

We provide different filtrate precision filter for the different occasion to satisfy customers’ needs. Our MF series’ filtrate precision is 100um, it used in general situation; and MV series’ filtrate precision is 1000um, it used in the industrial situation of higher requirement about the air.

If it’s used in industrial cleaner situation or powder transportation location, you cannot use our filter directly! For industrial cleaner or similar machines, please install a bad dust removal device before our filter or make other filter system.

Please pay more attention to the solids, dust, granule, cellulose and water bead. You should adopt dust collect bag to remove those dust before the air flowing into blower. Better adopt large filter to avoid loss of pressure when install a filter in the middle of pipe(especially for this type), and clean up regularly.

For the filter use life, our MF series filter can wash it under the water directly; but to the manvac series, can only use feather brush to clean and update the filter core regularly. Usually, you should change core every 3months, the longest using time is 6months. If there is much dust in the working place, then you should update core more frequently.

Eight, about pressure relief valve

Pressure relief valve is an unloading valve. When the pressure of manvac blowers exceed set pressure by valve, valve will open to release spare pressure to protect the blower automatically.

There are two methods to use valve, those are vacuum and compress usage.

When you using its vacuum, please set the valve in the inlet pipe through three coupling way, at the same time, please install the sir filter in the valve inlet according to the occasion dust situation. When you use its compressure, just set the valve in the outlet pipe through three coupling, that’s ok! There is a pressure adjustable screw in the valve, you should adjust using pressure before use. When you screw inside, the protected pressure will rise, screw outside, the protected pressure decrease.

After installing valve correctly, you also need to check whether it is normal operation or not more frequently. If you found that the pressure is not enough although installing correctly, that may means you have chosen the smaller power blower, please kindly exchange a higher-power one, and reinstall valve.

Another related fittings of valve is micro-pressure protection switch, it can greatly help you decrease your loss during the most impossible situation. So we strongly recommend you to install one, details please consult our professional technician.

Nine, about silencer

There is an inside silencer in our manvac blower, and it has debased the noisy to a low-lying level.

If you have higher requirement to the noise, please use our manvac series external silencer, usually it can decrease about 5dB.

manvac series external silencer will be installed in the end of inlet & outlet pipe (the farthest place of inlet & outlet ). Usually only one is ok! If you use its suction function, the silencer should be set in the end of outlet pipe; if you use its blow function, then take the opposite ways.

If you are still not satisfied with the noisy after using our manvac series external silencer, then we suggest you make a sound insulation box according to the equipment. Specifically speaking, you can take a box to cover the blower, and then put silencer cotton inside the six face of the box. (usually, the tight cotton should own 20mm thickness and wave crest is 15mm). At this monment, please pay attention to the aeration and heat-disperse, all direction’s min. distance, inlet air temperature of the blower.

Ten, about the pipe arrangement and running notice of manvac regenerative blower

As manvac regenerative blower running produces high temperature, when choosing pipe, it is required to adopt high quality, lasting material for sustaining blower’s high temperature and pressure. Ensure no article in the pipe & no leak itself.

Do not make the blower work during close the inlet completely, when decrease the pipe’s inlet proportion, and be sure that the max. reduced proportion shouldn’t exceed 2/3 of primary pipe, you should install an relief valve. You must install a relief valve when operation is always closed to full loading.

As blower’s temperature will rise rapidly when totally closed output operating, the blower should be avoided to operate constantly. You’d better run the motor for interval or operate by switch valve when the air required is interval or need to exchange vacuum and compressure of pipe continually.

If you install the blower outside the door, you should have a shelter above the blower from invasion of rain. Prevent anything being sucked into the cooling fan or dust blocking the vent.

Please install manvac blower in a no quiver ground. If you really need to install it in to a quiver place, please add some quakeproof measure. Attention please, to avoid manvac blower’s damage, you should using soft pipe and latex flange to connect pipeline.

Clean up the inner and outer at fixed time (specially, the vent of cooling fan) in order to remove dust on surface, less air, more vibration, high temperature & damage will be caused by large dust accumulated.

Bearings, seals & silencers belong to consumption, should have changed for every period of time regularly, meanwhile, so as to impeller, shell, metal net, etc., combined with working environment to have changed regularly.

Turn off power supply and check up when there is unexpected noise or rough running happened. If you need to disconnect blower during keep repair time, please inform our service people.
